HOST A POTLUCK FOR PROGRESS!
Potlucks For Progress are an awesome way for friends to gather to take action in support of an equal and just United States of America.
We believe in justice for all. We recognize that based on how laws are applied in the United States, and based on our national tragedies and priorities, the lives of all citizens are not valued.
We know we have to be the change we want to see in the world, so we are committed to holding ourselves; elected officials; and others in positions of power, accountable for making our nation a great nation for all.
Potluck Requirements
Potlucks For Progress Hosts choose one issue to focus on during their potluck gathering.
The Host is responsible for researching the issue; drafting a sample letter/action plan; creating his/her/their guest list; and identifying the relevant bills, movements, and organizations that address their chosen issue.
Potlucks For Progress Guests come prepared to fellowship, learn about their Host's chosen issue, and to take action to address their Host's Potluck topic. The guests will also be asked to consider hosting their own potluck in support of the same issue established by the initial host to expand the knowledge of, and action against, said issue, or to choose another issue to tackle.
The Guests must be friends of the host.
